Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP), the sub-scheme under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) has the objective of helping rural households including women to set-up enterprises. The scheme was approved during 2015-16 and the enterprise formation started in 2017-18. WBSRLM, West Bengal State have requested WWAGS for initiating the Baseline Survey for Apilurduar -I Block, WB. The baseline survey was compleated on 8th March 2021 for the block and the same DPR was submitted for approval to SRLM, West Bengal.
Once the DPR for the Alipurduar-I Block gets approval from the SRLM West Bengal State, the same DPR will have to present in EC in MoRD ( Ministry of Rural Development), Govt. of India for the final approval. The MOU to be signed between WWAGS & WBSRLM for Alipurduar -I Block for implementation of SVEP.
